We are delighted to accept an offer for Blackwater Carr from the founders of The Benjamin Foundation. https://benjaminfoundation.co.uk/ The Benjamin Foundation is a Norfolk and Suffolk based charity creating positive outcomes for children, young people and families.
It will be wonderful to see Blackwater Carr continue to go from strength to strength.
We weeded the new wildflower areas and are so pleased to see how most of the
wildflower plants are doing. It was good to see that the Milk Parsley has recovered from being eaten by the deer.
One of our silver birches is struggling with the drought. We have given it lots of water and hope it survives.
We were able to prune the overgrown hedges. They had grown so much in 2 months, even with the drought.
We decided to watch the eclipse at the woodlands as there would be little light pollution.
Steve got the takeaway and I worked out how to get the colanders reflected on the yurt. Great idea..... but unfortunately the sun had moved by the time it happened. Luckily other people shred their photos.
